Embrassing Moment 1

Was thinking a long time should I really put this into my blog or not.. But at last decided it will be fun read after 10 years from now. Now I was in a crowded bus one day… and as usual as it happens to everybody I had a big urge to know what is the time.. I usually don’t wear watches.. and was too lazy to take out my mobile and see the time. And I don’t know how my mind reacted.. I just leaned to my right where some x passenger was sitting and zoomed my head and eyes towards his hand and my god he was really embarrassed what was I going to do.. after a second I realized what am I doing.. my head and eyes very near to his hand.. my face just went towards the red mode.. I muttered out something which even I could not hear asking him what is the time.. I was asking to myself should I apologize … but before this he just moved away from me. Oh mamma Mia!! Let me see If I really publish this..

kid and christmas celebrations

yesterday was the annual xmas function at our apartments. have to say it was wonderfully organised with lots of programs thrown in and it was one of those days where everybody enjoyed it.  now our kid was super excited from morning 9.00 as to when will santa come to town..

every half hour he comes running asking when will santa come.

once the program started late in the eve.. he and his gang of friends rounded me asking from where santa will come.. when i told them he comes in a reindeer their next question is where will he park his reindeer when he meets them.  the level of questioning  by kids and the way they make believe their world is truly amazing.
their list of questions were just too good...
is reindeer faster than plane?
how will santa claus find our apartments from high above?
will santa take them for a round with them?
will santa give gifts to everybody. also to kids who are nuaghty?
can we call santa to our houses so that we can play together?
what does the reindeer eat?
why is it jingle bells ?
with kids one thing good that you learn is the level of patience which is required.

overall a nice day... bye for today.. back to office time.

office time with folkie

yesterday was one of those days when murphy was everywhere ..whatever i was doing was bouncing back to me in all odd ways. now within this time thinking how things will really come to a good stage i just struck a conversation with 'K' .. an amazing personality with a very nice and wonderful view about things happening .. also there is this varied collection of folk stories .it is always presented in such a beautiful way that you get more and more into the groove of having things done .. now this is the folk story which came up..

title -- for a packet of milk , a cow..

it seems so a long long time ago.. there lived a guy who used to live in a wonderful hut.. it happened so that there were lots of rats coming into his house.. to shoo away these rats. he brought a cat...now this cat started pestering for milk... so he brought a cow to have milk.. now to look after this cow ..his house.. himself and his cat he had to marry and bring in a lady.. and then everybody knows ..

basically we have to live within our means and we have to find solutions which ultimately helps ..

will try to extract more folkies ..

experiences with kid --part I

blogging about some happenings with my kid

it is amazing to find the level of energy kids have.
run around the house.. play near the fountains .. come for shopping and their endless questions about life.
the other day he is advising my colleauge ``dont see krishh3 movie uncle, it is not at all good and one aunty in the movie has very long toungue.. lot of fights too''.. by the way the movie i dont know how it raked in so much of money.its just not worth it.
now my dear kid has got so much anger in built for this movie he even tore away the advertisement in the paper..now that is something he rarely shows this much of anger...
anyway he is an expert in making stories..today he saw a crow outside our house and he tells that these crows are going to dubai it seems so. and they came last night at our door step when we were sleeping and talked to him for a long time explaining why the crows are going to dubai.
it is interesting to hear stories from them..

foodie time at flames

after yesterdays start went to Flames --basically a kebab,grill based restaurant. the ambience was wonderful.. with some good lighting and nice furnishing for interiors.

interiors do make up a lot for the experience in eating. I am sure most of us are influenced more by the decor than food while concluding how a restaurant will be.

now regarding food the menu was spread with -- grilled
chicken..  fried chicken.. shavarma rolls and as a desert item some smoothies.

just had a shavarma roll and fried chicken. have to say compared to the place where we are the food was decent not excellent but surely good.

the fried chicken was crispy with the owner quipping in why it takes 12minutes for the order to be ready.it was interesting to hear from him how he is managing the place and the constant push to run the restaurant.

the shavarma roll by the was basic..kuboos was good.
didnt try the smoothies will try it out next time.

off i go ... this
weekend i have to plan for some very good restaurant inside the city.

reactivate mode

oh after a long time i thought it will be better to utilize the one hour available commuting from house to office blogging. now what to write will always be a perinial question.
as a start let me think of something to jot. Ahh i got it... let me put in some words about the wonderful and touching short film about ``MEALS READY``. it is short ,beautiful touching to be precise.
the acting was top notch. really encouraged seeing this new wave of guys trying to put in their views across. now what is this about. it all boils down to an aged person eking out his living and his  hapiness captured .
let me see if i can figure out some other nice short films. till then bye for today.....
of course going to try a new restaurant flames... let me post something about it tomorrow.

blogging about something something

now now now for a long long time was thinking of putting in some daily happenings of my life . At last am putting in or jotting in is the correct lingua in Bloggers point of view.
have to read more blogs to really know what it is like blogging.

now my dear kid is almost 4 years old and he is really growing up to be what a kid should be in his age, running around the house , drawing at n number of places all over the walls, cycling outside the house, coming back with bruises from school /house. He loves going to school. But of course last week the teacher came up and told us he is little bit restless and it is very difficult to make him sit in a place for a long time. My opinion is that this is the age to play around .Let him play and explore , later on life has many hurdles which will slow people around.

Talking about school some days back he came back saying that Dad school is not interesting enough, they used to give everybody toys till a day back and now nobody gives them toys. And because of this all kids are really sad.
